Really Time Warner?? Less HD…

I just read on Engadget that Time Warner Cable is planning on dropping HDNet and HDNet Movies at the end of the month.  This is half of the premium HD tier that TWC currently offers.  The other two channels in the tier are MGM HD and Universal HD.  If they are dropping HDNet they might as well drop that tier and make those channels part of the regular digital tier like all the other HD channels.

If by some small miracle TWC actually traded that bandwidth for some new HD channels that I could get with my Cable Card than the sting will not be as bad but somehow I seriously doubt they will do anything for the few Cable Card customers they have.

DirecTV support just cannot get here fast enough for me.
